I didn't put glaze on it or anything. Is it safe to smoke out of a clay pipe if I sprayed clear acrylic sealer on it?
If you're talking about ';earth'; clay (not polymer clay, or another air-dry clay besides earth/pottery/ceramic clay), then you can put hot coals directly on it (whether you've glazed it or not).
You wouldn't want to put hot coals directly on various kinds of plastic though, including acrylic sealers, because they will burn and emit toxic smoke and fumes with much less heat than that.
