How do professionals apply clear acrylic tips instead of white tips? & how do they look?

I have always gotten white acrylic tips and wanted to try something different like clear acrylic tips and I wanted to know what the difference was and how they looked I have never seen someone where them. How do professionals apply clear acrylic tips instead of white tips? %26amp; how do they look?

Do you mean the fake nail being clear instead of white?

Or do you mean you get a pink and white where they apply white powder mixture to your tip, then the pinkish powder mixture to the rest. Usually that way, they will just use a clear fake nail underneath.

Anyway, without a white tip (the clear fake nail tip), in a regular acrylic setting, they will just paint or airbrush a white french tip on your nail and put a top coat or gel coat on over it.

Without a white tip, again, but with a pink and white acrylic, they first mix the white powder with the solution and paint on a french tip to each nail to the width you want it. Then they go over them with the pink powder and solution mixture. Finally, they will either buff it, put a gel topcoat, or clear top coat on it. Whichever you prefer.

Sorry if this is confusing!
