How to make a patio table top with clear acrylic, add postcards, palm leaves, etc & sealed with clear acrylic?

My glass table top broke. I want to replace it with a cut piece of clear acrylic and cover that with vacation, tropical fun stuff and pour a clear acrylic over top. Like the table tops in sports bars with the baseball cards, etc....... What can I use as the top, pourable %26amp; clear? Why don't you just use two pieces of acrylic, one for the bottom %26amp; one for the top? You can buy a bar finish to pour over your items. You can also buy marine finish, which I like best because it doesn't yellow and it is so strong and enduring.





Both are polyurethene finishes and easily applied.
